I heard the other day, somebody express an opinion that Jack Welch was out of favour. I would like to put on record, that I believe his leadership and management practices are and have been outstanding. His book, “Winning” is in my top ten business books and a recommended read. Search “Welch + youtube” and you will find many fascinating videos of Jack which are, very pertinent for today and the foreseeable future. He has demystified how to be successful. A lot of what he says is consistent with the great man, Peter Drucker. This is not surprising when you realise that Drucker and Welch met on a number of occasions discussing management and leadership.
